INTERIOR WALL PANELS

Colours and design: The basic range consists of white and pastel-colour panels. Their surface can be single-colour or with woodgrain, marble or mosaic effect. The print on ERGIS panels is protected with a special transparent paint layer resistant to wear, washing, and aggressive agents such as detergents, bleaching agents, etc.

EXTERIOR WALL PANELS

The panels are made of PVC enriched with compounds increasing their resistance to mechanical and weather factors as well as to UV radiation.

Fixing exterior wall panels

Installation: tongue and groove fixing

• horizontal: - 135 mm wide panels (P-130z type), fixed from bottom upwards.
• vertical and horizontal: - 100 mm wide panels (P-100z type), fixed from top downwards.

The ‘P-100 colour’ type is designed solely for external use solely as a finishing/decorative element in sites which are not directly exposed to sunlight, as e.g. soffits. The components used are resistant to the UV radiation (no fading and/or discolouring). We recommend the use of short sections of panels as, due to chamber construction of soffit boards, intense heating of the surface may cause deformations. For correct fixing of panels of the P-100z and P-100 colour types, apply C-1 type clasps manufactured by ERGIS-EUROFILMS S.A. C-1 type clasps are not required for the P-130z type panels. This type of panels comes with special grooves used for fixing the elements to the base or furring strips. It is recommended that the metal elements (staples, nails) are used and protected from corrosion (galvanised or oxidised). Instruction explaining successive steps of work is attached to each package of panels.

FINISH BATTENS

• Finish battens: start and joint strips - 3.0 m and 6.0 m long;
• Other battens – 2.6 m and 6.0 m long;
• Battens in all lengths are offered in packs of 10.

Panels for Breeding Pens

ERGIS-EUROFILMS S.A. product range includes PVC panels for breeding pens. This type of product is commonly used in pigsties in Poland and abroad. The product is perfect for animal reproduction pens, where cleanness is of utmost importance.

Qualities of ERGIS-EUROFILMS panels for breeding pens:

• made of durable material of high mechanical strength;

• neutral colours (different shades of grey);
• easy cleaning (water rinse is sufficient);
• easy to fix.

Panels for Soffits (perforated or ventilation panels)

Perforated ventilation panels are a supplementary element used in finishing soffits and roofs. Their main task is to permit free air flow between the roof deck and the vapour permeable film or the roof boarding. The panels protect against damp which may cause permanent defects in the wooden structure of the roof. Perforated ventilation panels supplement the ERGIS-EUROFILMS offer of roof finishing materials.

Panels for soffits offered by ERGIS-EUROFILMS are:

• aesthetic and functional; they perfectly replace wooden boards;
• impervious to weather conditions: rain, snow, low and high temperatures;
• maintenance-free;
• easy fixing without the use of special devices and tools;
• made of environmentally friendly materials;
• joinable with other ERGIS-EUROFILMS profiles.

Colours: White, light brown, dark brown, red brick; colours are consistent with colours of solid panels for soffits. All finishing materials from the ERGIS product range may be used for the ventilation panels.

Fixing:
Ventilation panels may be bonded to solid panels for soffits by placing the tongue of a ventilation panel into the groove of the solid panel. No additional finishing profiles are necessary for the ventilation panels. They may be fixed either perpendicularly or in parallel to the wall of the building. However, we recommend the use of short sections of panels (thus to be fixed perpendicularly) both for ensuring good look and for better bonding of individual elements to the irregularities of the surface. Ventilation panels and solid panels should be fixed solely with the use of special C-1 clasps which protect the panels against deformations in case of excessive heating (the change in temperature may cause slight change in the length of panels). Approximately 0.5 – 1.0 cm of expansion gap should be left for any possible length changes in higher temperatures. In the case of wide soffits, the distance between the wall and the fascia should be additionally reinforced with a special wooden structure protected against damp. The wooden structure for profile fixing should always be installed perpendicularly to the panels. In order to correctly ventilate the space between the insulation layer and the roof deck, ventilation panel should be installed every fourth panel in a soffit. Detailed instruction of panels fixing is attached to each package of panels.

Panels for soffits must not be used for external cladding.
