1. FP films
The FP pharmaceutical films are offered in the thickness range of 0.15 – 0.50 mm.
The FP transparent pharmaceutical films are manufactured as colourless or coloured, whereas the coated films are white. The coloured transparent films are characterised by a higher barrier for UV radiation.
The FP pharmaceutical film is designed mainly for direct packing of dry medicine forms such as tablets, coated tablets and capsules in the “blister – pack” system, on automatic packing machines on which heat forming of film packages, filling with medicines, and welding with aluminium film is done in a process line.
2. WU films
ERGIS-EUROFILMS S.A. also offers WU pharmaceutical films designed for indirect medicine packages (ampoules, ampoule-syringes, tubes, etc.)
The basic range of WU films thickness is: 0.30 – 0.50 mm.
The WU pharmaceutical films are manufactured in white colour as a standard.
The FP pharmaceutical films the meet criteria for packagings and packaging wastes that are defined in Directive 94/62/EC as well as Directive 2002/72/EC requirements regarding materials and products designed for contact with food.
The FP and WU pharmaceutical films are offered in rolls in the widths of 50 – 1,400 mm.
